Are you wondering what supplies you REALLY need to get started? Have you walked into one of the dozen or so local scrapbook stores only to be overwhelmed by row after row of papers, ribbons, gadgets and countless embellishments? Did it leave you confused and make you throw up your hands and cry out in frustration – "It's all too much work! I thought this was supposed to be fun!"

Well, yes, scrapbooking is supposed to be fun and here at Your Scrapping Café we can help you find an easier path through the maze of scrapbooking supplies. I can still vividly recall the first time I stepped into a local crafts store and came face to face with the abundance of scrapbooking supplies. It nearly took my breath away. I didn’t know where to begin. Thankfully, I had a "scrapbooking" friend I could call on for advice. Here at Your Scrapping Café that's what we want to be – your friend, offering some handy advice.

We know there are a million supplies and almost as many trends and techniques. It's important that you don't let yourself be thrown off balance by the latest and hottest techniques! The new trend-of-the-moment that’s all the rage might not be such a great idea if you're just starting out. Here at Your Scrapping Café you can investigate and experiment with trends & techniques without purchasing a bunch of supplies only to find out you don't like the results.

Come to Your Scrapbook Café and we'll help you come up with your own "getting started guide" based on the type of project you have chosen. We are here to listen and offer some initial guidance. We'll kick around ideas with you and help develop your direction and personal style. You'll have an opportunity to dabble with a few tools and techniques so you actually experience the look and feel before you decide which ones to use on your project. At the end of your first visit, you'll leave with a shopping list and the comfort of knowing that additional help is only a visit away.
