Our Pledge

We are once again hosting a Crop to benefit cancer awareness and education.  This year our crop is planned for  October 12-14, 2012. Please help make an impact by spending a weekend preserving your memories and offering hope for the "Cure"!!!

Our Cause

This year we have decided to work with a local organization...the Breast Cancer Foundation. The Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1990 to help further the fight against breast cancer by offering affordable mammography services, education and prevention to the community at large as well as medical professionals. Their mission is to fight breast cancer through education, access and mammography services; To guide individuals in understanding and using health care services in the fight against breast cancer and other diseases; To develop and promote information and services related to healthy lifestyles and preventive medicine; To promote quality professional imaging services for use in the detection and treatment of breast cancer and other diseases. The foundation offers vital programs like:

  • The Community Mammography Service, low or no cost mammograms for Dayton's under-served women
  • Essentials In Mammography, two-day continuing education seminar dedicated to mammography technologists
