Christmas List
As children we likely all had a Christmas list for Santa. Certainly, we eagerly anticipated the grandeur of all the presents wrapped beneath the tree. But only heaven knows that all those packages and bows can never heal the aching human soul.
What is this illusion called the innocence of youth? Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth of Christmas. As a grown up, I have a very different Christmas list.
This year has been incredibly challenging for so many of us. The world feels so different from the one I knew a few years ago. So many things have changed…shifted, with many weighing heavily on all our hearts and minds. Still, I’m trying to look forward with hope. I now ask that all of you could join me and do the same.
Note: the featured image above is one I created. You can find more details about that layout in my 2025 Gallery.
Christmas Blessings
Today all Christians celebrate the birth of a baby who came to bring hope, peace, and salvation.
Here’s hoping we can all be kind to one another; open, gentle and forgiving. Wishing everyone can remember we are not solitary individuals – we do not exist alone. As hard as it sometimes feels, we truly need each other. I pray that we all can understand time is not the only thing that can heal a broken heart.
I wish for you the Peace, Hope, Love and Blessings of Christmas. May your hearts be filled with gratitude. Cherish your loved ones whether near or far. Embrace the memories of those no longer with you. Be thoughtful, kind and patient. Be forgiving. Sometimes things don’t always go well. The most important thing is trying to find a way back to each other.

As a scrapbooker I believe that this craft connects us. Whether on paper or digitally, our shared love of memory keeping makes us a strong and loving community. The joy of telling stories, preserving moments, and creating something meaningful unites not just us but also so many others. I wish for all of us that this joy continues to grow as we welcome the new year.
I am looking forward to starting a brand-new year with you.
Happy memory making & keeping…Debbie
