It never ceases to amaze me how the universe works. You just never know how or why things happen in such a way to bring two creative spirits together. Some call it destiny, chance, serendipity or kismet. I like to think its more about Providence…a manifestation of God’s foresightful care for his creatures.

Mysterious Universe

If I told you the whole story about how I connected with an amazing, inspiring artist, you’d laugh. Even as I write this post I find myself shaking my head and laughing at the sequence of events.

The short version is I was recently working with a certain software package while tackling the task of preparing my income tax forms. I ran into a puzzling problem at the very end that resulted in a call to customer support.

I was asked to provide my email address which then got the universe working…

All that said…a lovely conversation between the support representative and me ensued regarding scrapbooking and painting.

And yes, I did ultimately get a resolution to the software issue and completed my tax forms 😊

But I want to introduce you to my new friend…

Meet Chandra Raj & Moonshine Paintings

Moonshine Paintings is an online art gallery showcasing a conglomeration of art. Chandra believes that true art comes from within and color is central to her individual expression. For her, art is a feeling, an expression that can easily transport others on mesmerizing visual journeys and deliver feelings of universal harmony that are felt and remembered for a long time.

Chandra feels that through the use of color and lines anyone can be taken to a place of peace in a moment. As an artist she chooses to guide others on a journey of love to a place and time that will breathe life into the mundane.

Her painting depicts a romantic voyage to a place and time that will bring life to the commonplace. Picturesque landscapes, mountains, birds and flowers, women with musical instruments, and dancers are bought to life with contrasting and harmonious colors and bold compositions.

Working on this layout was such a joy. I’d been having a bit of a rough patch with my creativity and connecting with Chandra and her work reminded me of a quote by Albert Schweitzer, “In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.” So, I owe a huge thank you to Chandra!

There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all.

Without creativity, we would be forever repeating the same patterns over & over again.
