May you have the gift of faith, the blessing of hope, and the peace of His love at Christmas and always! And let us not forget the real reason for the season that has been prepared for us since the foundation of the world! Jesus has given us great love, hope, and joy. Help spread love, hope, and joy to others this holiday season.

Even Santa Knows

This is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. The Kneeling Santa which takes its inspiration from Philippians 2:10-11, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Santa Claus is really St. Nicholas and would be the last person to detract from the real reason for the season — the birth of Christ. Even Santa Claus, or St. Nicholas according to the oldest traditions, pays respect and homage to the Baby Jesus. Santa removes his Santa hat out of respect, bends down on one knee next to the manger of his Lord, and adores the Christ Child as his King. A wonderful way for all of us to remember the true meaning of Christmas!
