Display Those Pages

Display Those Pages

So, I have a question for you today. What do you do with all of your lovely layouts? And this can apply to digital & traditional scrapbook pages.

Do you put them in albums, hang them on a wall or just keep your digital ones in a folder on your computer? My two oldest grandkids each have their current favorite scrapbook page hanging in a frame on their bedroom wall. I have most of mine in various albums. And yes, there are a lot on my hard drive that need to be printed.

Scrapbook Frames

In a recent discussion with my oldest granddaughter, she was asking for more of her pages for her room. At first, she was asking if she could have an album of her own. Then she said maybe just a couple more frames. Long story short, I needed to come up with another way to give her a nice selection of her favorites without creating a whole new album separate from the one I have “in progress” or buying more frames for walls that are already “full”.

Fun Alternative To An Album

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was when I stumbled across this lovely option. I just had to share.

Scrapbook Page Stand

This display stand is manufactured by Pioneer Albums, Inc. Pioneer is one of the largest U.S. sources of photo albums and memory scrapbooks offering over 300 different styles. I’ve used their products forever.

This lovely stand is designed to hold 12×12 pages. It is manufactured from a nice sturdy metal, reminiscent of wrought iron. It stands about 17” tall and with the pages, it’s about 12.5” wide and it includes 5 archival safe page protectors.

This will take up much less room on a table, shelf, dresser, etc., than an open scrapbook album. It just seemed like the perfect solution. At least for me and satisfying my granddaughter’s current request.

And how fun would it be as a gift idea. I found mine at Amazon. Unfortunately, I don’t believe it is available directly from Pioneer. But I think it’s also available at places (in the US) like Joann, Michael’s, and even Office Supply. If you’re interested but are not in the US I’d encourage you to search for “scrapbook page stand” to see if you can find one in your locale.

Most Important Tips About A Scrapbook Page Stand

This isn’t just for digital pages…you can put any scrapbook layout in these page protectors.

Don’t keep your digital scrapbook pages in a folder on your hard drive…share them! I’m sure everyone would love to see your creativity.

If you only want to display one page on this lovely stand you could mount your page on some foam core (or chipboard) and punch holes in the appropriate places. Again, what an amazing gift idea!
